Volunteer Roles

Do you have a passion for music? We welcome new volunteers to our Society. They are the heart of our operation.

Volunteering at the Vernon Folk-Roots Music Society provides a great opportunity to work with some great people. We are looking for volunteers to help us organize shows and help with some administrative tasks such as managing this website, updating our social media sites and newsletters.

​

We also welcome volunteers who are willing to work each of our shows or who would perhaps be interested in working only a few shows or to be available to help out when called, i.e. if regular volunteer could not make a show.

​

Volunteers are regularly needed in the following areas:

• 50/50 tickets sales

• Ticket and merchandise sales

 

For their dedication, our volunteers gain free admittance to our shows . We also host volunteer parties with food and beverages along with an opportunity to socialize and share our own musical talents.
